The government ordered Anthropic to cut off its most powerful models for every foreign national, citing a jailbreak and national security. Anthropic says the flaw is narrow and no worse than the competition. Both can be true and both can be spinning. A secret directive with no public process now decides who gets which AI, and nobody voted on it.
