A V100 that runs fine in a Dell C4140 gets throttled by 75% or more in a C4130, because Dell’s firmware decides it is unsupported. Dell offers no fix. The workaround is rooting the iDRAC through 2018-era CVEs after downgrading it. You bought the server and the GPU. Dell’s management chip still decides how fast they run.
