Waltham’s public access station got fifteen videos pulled from a citizen news channel for quoting short clips of city government meetings. The court said the takedowns were fine as long as the station sincerely believed they were fine. So the standard for silencing someone with a copyright notice is now good intentions, not being right. That’s a tool, and it will get used.
