The extension store is the same lawless warehouse it has been for a decade and Google has zero financial incentive to fix it. The extensions in this list have been on the store for years, some with millions of installs, all stealing browsing data, none flagged. The store review process is a joke that Google does not bother to laugh at. The only safe number of Chrome extensions is zero.
