Capital One eliminated its entire “Agile” job family, more than 1,000 roles, days before its Q4 earnings. It insists it is “not moving away from Agile,” just from the people whose job was Agile. Headcount hit 55,100, up 8 percent in a year, so this trims a fraction of what it added. The scrum masters were the first line item to go.
