The two providers are relocation firms BGRS and Sirva, and their servers held records on current and former government staff. The exposure reaches back to anyone who used their relocation services as early as 1999. LockBit says it published more than 1.5TB of Sirva documents after a $15 million opening demand. Relocation firms kept 24 years of civil servants’ files, and nobody can yet say how many people are exposed.
