Builder.ai coded itself into a corner – now it's bankrupt

Builder.ai raised over $500 million from Microsoft, Qatar and VCs on the pitch that AI builds your app. The WSJ reported in 2019 that human engineers did most of the coding. In May the new CEO told staff the money was gone. The company that sold developer replacement could not replace its own developers.
