“Research published yesterday by several European media outlets has revealed that an international campaign in support of the EU’s proposed child sexual abuse regulation has been largely orchestrated and financed by a network of organisations with links to the tech industry and security services.”
The child protection groups lobbying for chat control turn out to be a network tied to scanning vendors and security services, funded by millions from a US-led foundation and paid foreign consultants. The law would force providers to scan every private message and photo in the EU. The US has no such law at home. The companies selling the scanners wrote the case for buying them.
