SpaceX wants to test one Gen2 satellite beaming to unmodified phones on T-Mobile’s PCS G-Block spectrum as soon as Dec. 1. AT&T and the Rural Wireless Association filed complaints at the FCC, demanding a different license and more interference proof first. SpaceX filed on Oct. 2 and wants to start in weeks. Fighting over which form to fill out is how an incumbent buys time.
