Apple announced a headset you cannot buy until next year at a price that starts at $3,499. The flagship feature is EyeSight, a screen showing your eyes to the people you shut out by wearing it. Apple promises eye tracking stays private from Apple and app makers. It needs that promise because the device knows where you look every second it is on.
