Apple’s big American manufacturing deal is 5G RF parts and FBAR filters from a Broadcom plant that already makes them for Apple. The 1,100 jobs already exist. The money counts toward the $430 billion U.S. pledge from 2021, which also counts data centers and capital spending. Apple renewed a supplier contract and announced it as patriotism.
