Claude now runs inside Palantir’s Impact Level 6 environment on AWS, cleared for data up to secret. Anthropic sold itself as the safety-conscious alternative to OpenAI. Its terms now allow “legally authorized foreign intelligence analysis” and warning of military activities, with restrictions tailored to each agency’s willingness to keep talking. A usage policy that bends to the customer is a sales sheet.
