Amazon had 200,000 robots in 2019, 520,000 in 2022 and now more than 750,000. Headcount fell from 1.6 million in 2021 to 1.5 million. Amazon answers with 700 new categories of skilled jobs, a count of job titles rather than people. The robots keep arriving and the humans keep leaving.
