Adobe announced they were killing Animate to focus on AI. The community lost its mind. Adobe backed down and put it in “maintenance mode” instead. This is what happens when you try to sunset a tool people actually use to chase the AI hype cycle. The original plan was to end it March 1. Enterprise customers were promised support through 2029. Now nobody’s getting cut off. Turns out users still have some leverage when they yell loud enough.
