Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers openblocks and other mobile applications published by Dan Heskett.

Data Collection

The apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or usage data. There are no analytics, no advertising, no user accounts, and no network access of any kind.

The one exception is Play Online in openrackem: it connects to the openrackem game server and sends it the player name you choose and your moves, and the server holds your IP address in memory only to rate-limit new games, while its logs record each match’s room code, seed, moves, and scores with no names or IP addresses.

Game data such as scores and settings is stored only on your device and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Third Parties

The apps do not use third-party services and do not share data with anyone, because no data is collected in the first place.

Children

#

Since no data is collected, no data is collected from children. Most of the apps are suitable for all ages; openjack is a blackjack game, and although it uses play chips only, with no real money and nothing to buy, it is rated for simulated gambling and is not directed at children.

Changes

#

If a future update changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
